This course conforms to the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the 2020 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for First Aid. By successfully completing this online class, students will receive a Certificate of Online Training. If a certification card is needed, student must successfully complete a hands-on skill session with a currently authorized HSI Instructor.
29 CFR 1910 Subpart E -Fire extinguishers are one of the most reliable ways to put out fires in the workplace. Fire extinguishers are not a requirement, but if employers choose to provide them they must train workers in general fire extinguisher use to comply with OSHA standards.
